Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Dental Nurse, or as an apprentice . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in dentistry—no prior experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.

As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced dental professionals, learning all aspects of dental nursing, including chairside assistance, patient care, infection control, and administrative duties. You will be supported through your training and development to become a qualified Dental Nurse.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting dentists during procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation within the clinic. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about patient care and looking to develop their career in dental nursing. The role involves working closely with patients and dental professionals to deliver exceptional dental services in a friendly and professional Private environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring smooth operation and patient comfort
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilise instruments, and manage dental supplies efficiently
• Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients
• Support patients by explaining procedures, answering questions, and alleviating anxieties
• Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems in compliance with data protection regulations
• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including infection control standards
• Organise appointment schedules and manage patient flow effectively
• Support administrative tasks such as updating patient information and managing correspondence
